Ways to Reach Beausoleil Island:

 Hire a privately owned water taxi from Honey Harbour.

 Canoe or kayak.

 Experienced swimmers can access the island by a 5km swim from the mainland.

DayTripper offers a 15-minute boat ride to the island through reservation only. You can secure your ride by contacting the Parks Canada Reservation Service at 1-877-737-3783. 

Island Activities

The North and South ends of the nearby Beausoleil Island each offer unique features for visitors to explore. As an added perk, guests can get to know the local by partaking in geocaching across the entire island. 

Cedar Spring—North Side of Island

Trails—This part of the island features a number of trails that range in difficulty for avid hikers and cyclists to enjoy. Trails range from 0.3 to 2.5 km.

Scenery—Boasting a variety of picturesque views, this side of the island acts as the perfect place to enjoy a family picnic. Picnic tables and shelters are available for use.

Water Sports—The sheltered bays located at the Cedar Spring campground are a great place to head out on the water for boating, canoeing, kayaking or even for a quick swim.

Chimney Bay—South Side of Island

Scenery—Filled with gorgeous clear, blue water, granite bedrock and swaying white pines, this side of the island offers a more rugged appearance for guests to gaze upon.

Photography—Capture life-long memories with the scenic lake and forest views as your backdrop.

Daily admission to the park for adults is $6.25. Youth ages 17 and under may enter for free. Group fees for up to 7 people are $12.75.
