“At the end of November I surprised my husband with a 2 night weekday getaway at Christie's Mill.
I cannot express how perfect it was.
I got us the Romance Package and the suite with the outdoor hot tub, overlooking the water. It was beautiful sitting out at night
drinking wine and watching the ducks play.
On the second day I had pre-booked the couples spa package. The spa was beautiful, and the staff was wonderful. At the beginning my
over-worked, and over stressed husband laughed at it because of all the love and goosh. He could not believe that I had not left out a thing.
Our dinners were included and the food was great. Everything about our Christie's Mill experience was great. We laughed, relaxed, and
had such a wonderful time, my husband has said we need to make this a yearly event.

“A week later and my wife and I are still talking about the wonderful
evening we had at the Inn at Christie's Mill on December 11.
Having been sitting on the 400 for over three hours earlier that
afternoon, we are happy that we turned off at Port Severn on our way
back to the south. (We had also heard that traffic had been cut off further south as well.)
Thanks to staff members, Kim, Jason and Jamie, we had a wonderful time with the
"upgrade" room, both the supper and breakfast buffet and the opportunity
to have a dance or two. We were able to make the whole evening a
celebration of our 46th anniversary which officially was marked yesterday.
Next time I head north in the midst of winter, I am going to pack a bathing
suit to try out the pool and spa should we ever be diverted from our goal of visiting family.
Thank you for turning a bad time into one that will be remembered for a long
time to come. Telling others of your establishment certainly

“I came upon your mill one night. I was driving back from
Toronto to Sudbury after nine hours of intense training. I
was so tired I pulled over at the first lodging sign. Low
and behold it was your establishment. Needless to say family
and myself have been back 4 times as well as friends. YOU
ROCK!

“Lady at front desk was very courteous and helpful. All
staff was very accommodating. Rooms were lovely and
comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub very much…nice
setting. Excellent meal – nicely presented. Liked the fact

poolside service was excellent. My husband passed away in
March. He loved this lifestyle. What a wonderful relaxing
retreat. Super room! Spa was wonderful, pool excellent,

Our stay here far exceeded our expectations. The Inn is
impeccably clean, we couldn’t find one speck of dust! The
room was quiet, spacious and the view simply spectacular. We
will definitely come back in the summer. The Spa service was

I've wanted to send a message or write a letter for quite some time now. My husband and I frequent for dinner over
the years and especially come for the "Mother's Day Brunch". We have been coming for Mother's
Day since you opened. This is a yearly much anticipated event that I look forward to and savour with
my family. Each year I tell myself I will peek my head in to your kitchen and thank your chef David
Scoffield personally for the tremendous job he and his staff do year after year. He is an awesome chef.
Today I finally had the opportunity to meet him and thanked him in person. The brunch always leaves us
satisfied and never disappointed. Everything is fabulous from the melt in your mouth salmon starter with
assorted cheeses and salads to the ever sucullent chicken and ham speciality that keeps us returning each year.
The eggs benedict was perfect. This year you really out did yourselves and added even more items, ribs and
perogies and the chocolate fountain kept us coming back for more. The waitresses and service were both
amazing as was the entertainment who satisfied us with all our requests. My Mother's Day would not be
complete without our family yearly tradition spent at your fine establishment. Please pass on our
appreciation to your cooking and dining staff for a job well done !!
